Until around 1920, rapeseed and nut oil, but also grain, were milled here. The mill wheel was also used at times to operate a \u201cgrinding mill\u201d (for sharpening tools), a \u201chemp mill\u201d (for crushing and breaking up hemp stalks), or as a \u201cgypsum mill\u201d.<\/p><p>The adjacent vineyard site &#8220;\u00d6lberg&#8221; derives its name from the oil mill.<\/p><p>In 1790, the stuccoist Fehner produced paints and &#8220;plaster&#8221; from the barite found in the valley for the construction of the new parish church.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8ab7621 elementor-widget__width-initial
