B\u00fchlmattwehr [weir] supplied a total of four mills with water. In 1851, the \u2018old\u2019 M\u00fchlbach was nearly destroyed by a storm and rebuilt approximately 100 meters east of its original location. <\/p><p>A massive weir was used to re-direct the water from the Durbach over the B\u00fchlmattwiesen to the former Pochm\u00fchle [grinding mill]. From there, the canal continued at the Plauelrain slope behind today\u2019s properties and further to the \u00d6lm\u00fchle [oil mill].<br><br>There, the canal continued to the former Deckerm\u00fchle and subsequently the Weilerm\u00fchle.   <\/p><p>Several watergates were constructed for watering the B\u00fchlmattwiesen and promoting growth. From 1842 to 1920, the B\u00fchlmattwiesen were used to collect ice stored in the Bierkeller [beer cellar] for the summer months. Until 1930, there was a trench to the left of the stream to irrigate the meadows.  <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-0afb86d elementor-widget
