In 1661, Johannes K\u00fcffer, a doctor from Strasbourg, acquired the property. Between 1772 and 1775, it was then purchased by Freiherr Josef von Ried. He subsequently merged his properties \u2013 the former B\u00e4uerlinshof, Leitersberger Hof, more vineyards, and in 1770 built Rittergut Hespengrund manor.    <\/p><p>In 1828, the Reid heir Freiherr von Ritz sold the entire feudal estate to Freiherr Franz Anton von Neveu. After the Thirty Years\u2019 War, his ancestor Carl Neveu de la Folie moved from the French Anjou province to Landvogtei Ortenau, serving as its administrator.<\/p><p>Since then, the Neveu family has owned the estate and developed it into a modern and progressive vineyard that produces quality wines.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-33 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-e9d69c1\" data-id=\"e9d69c1\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-98499ec ha-has-bg-overlay elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"98499ec\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p align=\"left\">Freiherr von Ried developed his estate into a showpiece for plants and viticulture.
