En 1841, l\u2019aubergiste Ignaz Brandstetter d\u2019Offenbourg acquiert le terrain. Il obtient imm\u00e9diatement l&rsquo;autorisation de servir du vin et construit une nouvelle maison de bain avec 8 chambres. \u00c0 partir d&rsquo;une \u00absource d&rsquo;acier\u00bb dans le Zinken Sendelbach, \u00abl&rsquo;eau de gu\u00e9rison\u00bb \u00e9tait aliment\u00e9e via une digue en bois et des bains m\u00e9dicinaux \u00e9taient administr\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00e9conomie du bain a \u00e9t\u00e9 nomm\u00e9e \u00ab\u00a0zum Staufenberg\u00a0\u00bb et a \u00e9galement re\u00e7u le certificat \u00ab\u00a0Schildrechtlichkeit\u00a0\u00bb, qui lui permet d&rsquo;accueillir des invit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>En 1847, la communaut\u00e9 acquiert le domaine et installe la mairie dans l&rsquo;ancienne auberge.
