L&rsquo;atelier du Durbach a \u00e9t\u00e9 construit en 1890. Depuis, plusieurs g\u00e9n\u00e9rations et diff\u00e9rentes familles ont dirig\u00e9 la forge comme une forge villageoise. Cela comprenait \u00e9galement le m\u00e9tier de mar\u00e9chal-ferrant, qui \u00e9tait essentiel pour les chevaux, les b\u0153ufs et les vaches dans la vall\u00e9e agricole. L&rsquo;aff\u00fbtage des houes de vigne, pioches et autres outils faisait partie du \u00ab pain quotidien \u00bb du forgeron du village.    <\/p><p>Le forgeron dirigeait g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement une ferme \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9, avec sa femme et ses enfants faisant une grande partie de ce travail pour leur subsistance quotidienne.<\/p><p>Berthold Bahr, le dernier forgeron du village, a \u00e9t\u00e9 actif \u00e0 l&rsquo;enclume jusqu&rsquo;en 2001.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b430026 elementor-widget__width-initial ha-has-bg-overlay elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b430026\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p align=\"left\">Ma\u00eetriser le m\u00e9tal \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide des \u00e9l\u00e9ments feu et eau a toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 fascinant et effrayant \u00e0 la fois.
