data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Das Gasthaus zur Linde wurde erstmalig in einem \u201eClagprotokoll\u201c des Staufenberger Gerichtstags 1666 erw\u00e4hnt. Hans Kunz am Lindenplatz beklagte sich, dass ihn Thomas W\u00f6rner bei einer Versammlung im \u201eoberen Wirthshaus\u201c in Anwesenheit des \u201eLindwirths\u201c und weiterer Personen \u00f6ffentlich des Betrugs bezichtigt habe.<\/p><p>1765 versammelten sich die Durbacher im Wirtshaus zur Linde, um den Huldigungseid auf den k\u00fcnftigen Markgrafen Carl Friedrich zu leisten. 1830 wurde beurkundet, dass die Linde als Gasthaus seit undenklichen Zeiten das Beherbergungsrecht besitzt.<\/p><p>Seit dem 17. Jahrhundert bis heute ist die Linde mit der Gastst\u00e4tte und schmucken Gastzimmern immer wieder Ort f\u00fcr wichtige und gesellige Anl\u00e4sse.<\/p><p><i>In einem G\u00fcltbrief von 1587 wird bereits der Lindenplatz in Verbindung mit einem Wirt erw\u00e4hnt. Dezember 1830 versteigerte das Gro\u00dfherzogliche Amt Offenburg den \u201eBau einer h\u00f6lzernen Br\u00fccke mit steinernen Landfesten\u201c zwischen der Herrenm\u00fchle und dem Gasthaus zur Linde an den &#8222;Wenigstbietenden&#8220;.
